Strategies for Young Children with Trauma

Participants will learn types of trauma, how trauma affects children, and strategies to deescalate and engage with child survivors of trauma.  Participants will learn about compassion fatigue and how to covercome it.  A focus will be on how to prevent child victims of trauma from being dismissed from early childhood programs.
